Brass Ensemble Trumpets play with Parrish Hand Bell Choir

Our Brass Ensemble provided a trumpet duet to accompany the Grace UMC Parrish Bells Hand bell choir on “The Music of the Spheres (Kevin McChesney).

“The Music of the Spheres” is an arrangement by Kevin McChesney for Hand Bells with Piano and Brass. The piece includes music from “This Is My Father’s World”, “Hail to the Lord’s Anointed”, and “Joyful, Joyful We Adore Thee.” It is here played by the Grace United Methodist Church Parrish Bells with Sarah Scott at Piano, Shaun Hydock and Craig Loe on trumpets (both members of the Grace UMC Brass Ensemble), and directed by Rev. Milton Rodgers.

This performance of “The Music of the Spheres” was recorded at the 11:00 a.m. Worship Service at Grace United Methodist Church, Manassas, Virginia, USA on Sunday, April 24, 2016.

Benedictus video

In case you missed it, here is the video of Josef Arnold playing Benedictus this past Sunday.

Our UMC Grace Brass Ensemble Euphonium player, Josef Arnold, played Benedictus for Euphonium & Piano from “The Armed Man: A Mass for Peace” (Karl Jenkins, arr. Brian Bindner) for the Prelude at the 11:00 AM and 5:00 PM services on Youth Sunday, April 17, 2016.

Well done, Josef!
