Just a reminder that the “uniform” for tomorrow is long sleeve white shirt, Christmas-color ties for men (optional for ladies), dark trousers/skirts. I forgot to ask Milton about Christmas hats that woodwinds suggested. But bring ‘em if you got ‘em and we’ll see what Milton says!
Plan to arrive 7 – 7:15 AM to set up, warm up, and go over your music. We’ll run through “Jesu Joy of Man’s Desiring” and anything else that could be a problem. I think woodwinds will be rehearsing “Still, Still” during that time.
Lilit, Lisa and I will need to also do a sound check of our mics and synth keyboard for “Good (Adam & Eve)”. Hopefully also run through some or all of “Good”.
At 7:45 AM brass, woodwinds and choir will rehearse the Processional – Hymn #250: “Once in Royal David’s City” (Verses 2, 3, and 4; verse 1 is just the soloist).
Don’t forget that we play at both the 8:30 and 11:00 AM services.
Okay, thanks again for all your hard work in preparing this year’s Christmas music. What we play and how well we play it contributes to our Church’s valuable outreach of the Good News of our Savior to a needy community.
See you bright and early tomorrow!
